Our Salvocorp UAE team were recently involved in a spectacularly innovative project for Emirate Airlines at the World Expo, based in Dubai.
Solid surfaces in Bright White were used to craft an interactive cinema experience in the form of a futuristic form of air travel.

HOW OUR SOLID SURFACES WERE USED FOR THIS EXPO
The World Expo, or World Fair, has been going since 1851 and is known for its large-scale public exhibitions that occur in major cities every five years. Following a central theme each time, the Expo allows countries to come together and showcase their best ideas and technologies in a physical space. The UAE hosted the World Expo 2020, and delivered a spectacular event, titled ” Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”, which aims to inspire participants to mobilise over shared challenges.
Found at the Emirates Pavilion, Salvocorp UAE and Royal Stone Solid Surface LLC used solid surfaces to create a futuristic construction that immerses viewers into the future of innovation at Emirates Airlines through a cinematic experience. Bright White was used in a glossy finish to represent air travel, as well as deliver a premium, quality experience.
Solid surfaces for this Expo were the ideal material, as the sheets can be thermoformed to suit any shape and design, and can be processed in 3D as well as cut by CNC machinery to ensure accuracy and precision. This material is also impact and scratch resistant, non-porous, and easy to clean, meaning that the end product will keep its appeal for years to come.
